鸡尾酒、大屠杀、在十字架上钉死和色情文学

对于我来说，这张专辑有着高度的艺术造诣及严肃的艺术精神，有着古典式的灾难刻画，及杂糅的后现代的艺术形式。
它无疑是黑暗殿堂的主要基柱之一，是黑暗音乐的顶级象征之一。
最开始我认为这张是刻意剔除了人性的，意在表达严肃而冰冷的黑暗。
但经过细细品味，其不过形式上的黑暗神性，而其词的内容依然保留了人性的一面，而非绝对的冰冷。或者说是通过性与人类柔弱的情感来诠释了人性的一面。
但是当我听到如今，这张就只剩下了性感，或者说糜烂的色情，比那些热血沸腾的所谓的SEX MUSIC更容易让人冲动。
这应该是对于我这样喜好哥特式黑色情色者来说最后的感受。
然虽在这血肉炼狱中，高调的谈论着性，而感觉却是一种被压抑的性，带着些许的SM情感，又或许是这呻吟中永没有高潮？汗。

总之，这是一张非神的启示录，是人类给自己带来的杀戮和末日之景。
被束缚的欲望之躯，剔除了爱，无从从性或者其他满足中得到灵魂的解脱，徒有无谓的挣扎。
而那从头至尾的机械式的无生气的女人呻吟采样，则似乎成了人类世界中最后留下的象征。

专辑的两张封面分别截选自画家Bouguereau·Adolphe William（1825.11.30--1905.8.19，新古典主义代表之一）的《Dante and Virgil in Hell》（但丁与维吉尔在地狱。但丁，意大利诗人，1265-1321。图中另一个是古罗马诗人维吉尔，公元前70－公元前19。在《神曲中》，他是但丁的引路人）和《Nymphs and Satyr》（森林之神赛特与仙女丽芙们）两幅作品。
Bouguereau·Adolphe William是我最喜欢的画家之一，其作品被我视真正的严肃艺术，做到了人性与神性之间完美的平衡。在此我想粗略谈谈他的这两幅原作，以寻求专辑的完整感。

1、1850，《Dante and Virgil in Hell》, showing the imagined horrors of the underworld（但丁与维吉尔在地狱，这是对恐怖地狱的想象。）
纵观其他《神曲》题材的绘画作品，相对于那些作品的抽象来说，Bouguereau这幅无疑更具体。地狱的灵魂，被Bouguereau以人类的肉体来取代，通过人体及丰富的曲线来体现人性，更具震撼性。人性中痛苦，恐惧，等阴暗一面在扭曲的肉躯与狰狞的表情中表现无疑。而但丁与维吉尔的旁观（明暗层次不多，线条端直），象征了这是神造的炼狱，拥有神圣不可抗拒的一面。
ORE截取了作品中Giannini Schicci啃Capocchio的画面作为封面主体，剔除了旁观者，这张专辑或许强烈地暗示着，我们身在人吃人的炼狱之中。

2、1876，《Nymphs and Satyr》（森林之神赛特与仙女丽芙们）
Four nymphs tease and play with a satyr by trying to pull him into a lake. One nymph waves behind to three other nymphs in the distance, perhaps beckoning them to come and play with the satyr as well. The satyr half heartedly tries to resist the nymph’s wiles, entranced by their beauty. Nymphs are from Greek mythology. They are considered to be minor female deities, and have a duty to protect different elements of nature such as streams, mountains and meadows (pantheon). The male counterpart for a nymph is a satyr. A satyr is a creature also from Greek mythology having the torso and face of a man, ears and tail of a horse, and feet of a goat. They are known for being lustful and fertile creatures. Bouguereau captures an incredible sense of motion in this piece. One can feel the struggle for the satyr to keep his ground, and the nymphs’ joyous struggle to pull him in.
四位仙女戏弄森林之神，企图把他推入湖中，一位仙女挥手致意她背后远处的三位仙女，可能是诱使她们一同来与森林之神玩耍，森林之神想设法摆脱仙女的诡计，可又被她们的美丽打动。仙女丽芙来自希腊神话，她们被认为是未成年的女性之神，并且有保护各种自然元素的使命，如溪流，山峦，草地（来自古希腊罗马之万神殿），而仙女丽芙的男性相对物则是森林之神赛特，同样是古希腊神话的创造物，他们有不完全的人类男性之貌，马的耳朵和尾巴，山羊之脚。他们被认为是好色之徒，性欲极强。
在这幅作品中，布格霍捕获了难以置信的动作美感。我们可以感觉到赛特努力使自己站稳，而仙女丽芙则以把赛特推入湖中为乐。
这是一幅充满形式美感的作品，弥漫着音乐与诗情，是"回到自然"的浪漫主义杰作。
而ORE以赛特为主体作为专辑封面，截去了湖水这一原作重要的故事元素，则可能引申了其中的的性与享乐主义等象征人类的糜烂堕落。
Bouguereau已逝，没什么版权问题，原画并不难找，这里就不贴了。
ORE对画的色调进行了处理，而且把《Nymphs and Satyr》调了个边。
另值得一提的是，另一张黑暗里程碑巅峰之作，Lacrimas Profundere《Memorandum》（1999）也是对Bouguereau的原画《A Soul Brought To Heaven》加工截取后作的封面。嘿嘿。

十八章4-8节：先有荣耀奢华后有悲哀痛苦

十七章1-6节：大淫妇的刑罚

拿着七碗的七位天使中，有一位前来对我说：“你到这里来，我将坐在众水上的大淫妇所要受的刑罚指给你看。地上的君王与她行淫，住在地上的人喝醉了她淫乱的酒。”我被圣灵感动，天使带我到旷野去，我就看见一个女人骑在朱红色的兽上；那兽有七头十角，遍体有亵渎的名号。那女人穿着紫色和朱红色的衣服，用金子、宝石、珍珠为妆饰；手拿金杯，杯中盛满了可憎之物，就是她淫乱的污秽。在她额上有名写着说：“奥秘哉！大巴比伦，作世上的淫妇和一切可憎之物的母。”
（注：被称作巴比伦的大淫妇，代表早期的罗马帝国（象征所有仇视神的体系），充满偶像，满手是基督徒殉道者的鲜血。大淫妇代表那种诱人堕落的政治体系，他们用不道德的方法获取享受、繁荣和利益。）

十七章7-13节：解明女人和所骑之兽的奥秘

我又看见那女人喝醉了圣徒的血和为耶稣作见证之人的血。我看见她，就大大的希奇。
天使对我说：“你为甚么希奇呢？我要将这女人和驮着她的那七头十角兽的奥秘告诉你。你所看见的兽，先前有、如今没有，将要从无底坑里上来，又要归于沉沦。凡住在地上名字从创世以来没有记在生命册上的，见先前有、如今没有、以后再有的兽，就必希奇。智慧的心在此可以思想。那七头就是女人所坐的七座山，又是七位王；五位已经倾倒了，一位还在，一位还没有来到；他来的时候，必须暂时存留。那先前有、如今没有的兽，就是第八位，他也和那七位同列，并且归于沉沦。你所看见的那十角就是十王，他们还没有得国，但他们一时之间要和兽同得权柄，与王一样。他们同心合意将自己的能力权柄给那兽。
（注：约翰所指的是罗马，她以七座山闻名。）

十七章14-18节：羔羊得胜

他们与羔羊争战，羔羊必胜过他们，因为羔羊是万主之主，万王之王。同着羔羊的，是蒙召、被选、有忠心的，也必得胜。
天使又对我说：“你所看见那淫妇坐的众水，就是多民、多人、多国、多方。你所看见的那十角与兽必恨这淫妇，使她冷落赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火将她烧尽。因为神使诸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的国给那兽，直等到神的话都应验了。你所看见的那女人就是管辖地上众王的大城。 
 
接下来的章节讲叙了大淫妇给世界带来灾难，并受到神的伸讨。

后面则是预言撒旦复活千禧年及末日审判。

路西弗崛起
（某种意义上来说应该是接着In the Midst of flaming Ruins - Desire of the Few，按照《圣经 启示录》的叙述，先是大淫妇巴比伦迫害世人，被神惩罚，然后就是撒旦复活，而现在很多说法都认为撒旦亦是路西弗，为同一人，YS注）

Fornication veils the morning just like carnage veils the day

荒淫之行荡无存 众神拂袖惶惶去

（宗教书籍上没有seraphs，理论上来说seraph的复数应为Seraphim即炽天使，为天使位阶的顶层，神格仅次于神，希伯来语，代表着“燃烧”和”蛇”，炽天使无形无体、和主有直接沟通，是纯粹的光和思考的灵体，以其振动创造生命，以赤红的火焰为象徽，是以太阳为化身的最优秀的天使。古以色列战乱时代的大先知以赛亚曾描述在神的御座前目击炽天使的经过，“我见主坐在高高的宝座上。他的衣裳垂下，遮满圣殿。其上有撒拉弗侍立。各有六个翅膀。用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔。彼此呼喊说：‘圣哉，圣哉，圣哉，万军之耶和华，他的荣光充满全地’（"Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh"，"Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His Glory." (Isaiah 6:3)”）。因呼喊者的声音，门槛的根基震动，殿充满了烟云。”（《以赛亚书》六章五节），因而留下了六翼之姿态的传说。YS注）

对新民谣的热爱之情大多也是出于FORSETI
我总是怀着崇敬之情去聆听FORSETI
出生至今的某种莫名的期待之情全在FORSETI之下怦然爆发
因而我也认为这是我向往的生命中的音乐
我所希望的生活的也就是这样的基调

十一月的消失林合辑中提供的Erde这张专辑的两首词有错误，在这里对朋友道歉了

每每提及新民谣新古典总会想到的独特的天才乐团
可惜仅有这两张专辑就已夭折
分裂成了死亡吟者（Trobar De Morte）及日与夜（Narsilion）这两个顶级乐团
如今官网已然荒废，歌词链接也已经失效
只留下这最后的两首词
